AZ JOAD Outdoor Results.

2016 JOAD outdoor archers

This is the first year AZ had a separate Outdoor Championship for the JOAD’s since 2013.  The kids did not disappoint, with over 100 registered archers for the event.

The temperature was nice for this time of year, but there was a good chance of storms in the afternoon.  We were lucky to get about 99% of the tournament complete before we had to call it a day due to lightning, with a wall of water coming in behind it.  Most people were already in their cars, or headed home by the time the clouds let loose.

The windy conditions did not stop the kids from shooting their hearts out.  In total, there were 17 records either broken or tied at this years JOAD Outdoor.  Many of the classes had podium finishes that were separated by just a few points. ( Detailed results and records can be found at the links below.)

Thank you to Fusion JOAD, the Judges, and Volunteers that helped make this tournament a success.
